RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Overview

At Dazey, we aim to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

By placing an order with Dazey, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Eligibility for Returns (Cooling-Off Period)

In line with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, customers may request a return within 7 days of delivery for online purchases.

Please note:

• The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition.

• All original packaging, tags, and accessories must be included.

• Items must not show signs of wear, damage, or alteration.

Dazey reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions, subject to applicable consumer law.

Non-Returnable Items

To maintain hygiene and product integrity, the following items are not eligible for return where permitted by applicable law:

• Earrings or personal-use items where applicable for hygiene reasons.

• Sale, clearance, or promotional items, subject to applicable consumer rights.

• Gift cards or digital products.

• Items marked as “final sale”, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless:

• The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable where permitted by applicable law.

Inspection & Approval

All returned items will be inspected upon receipt.

Dazey reserves the right to:

• Reject returns that do not meet our policy requirements, subject to applicable consumer law.

• Charge a reasonable handling or restocking fee if the item is not returned in its original condition, where permitted by applicable law.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after inspection.

Please note:

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

• Shipping costs are non-refundable where permitted by applicable law.

• A reasonable handling fee may be deducted where applicable and legally permitted.

Exchanges

Dazey does not offer direct exchanges.

If you would like a different item, please place a new order.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact Dazey at dazey.support@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number.

• Clear photos of the issue.

Dazey will arrange a replacement or refund in line with applicable CPA requirements.

Incorrect Size / Change of Mind

Please ensure you review product descriptions, sizing, and images carefully before purchasing.

Returns due to:

• Change of mind.

• Incorrect size selection.

Risk of Return Shipment

Customers are responsible for ensuring returned items reach Dazey safely.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Dazey is not responsible for lost return parcels.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, including your right to receive goods that are of good quality, in working order, and free of defects.
